No such object at /usr/share/perl5/smbldap_tools.pm line 353.

If you get this error it is because you are using a newer version of openLDAP. As of version 2.4.11 the slapd.conf is no longer used and instead you need to use cn=config

I wanted to know if I did something wrong because I followed all the steps, but when I try to join the domain it says that the network path cannot be found. Can some please help me out?

This is great tutorial…
Finally, I have my first Linux DC server…;)

I’ve tested it with Ubuntu Server 8.04 64Bit…
If using newest webmin (version 1.420), the Bind DNS Server can be found in Un-used Modules.
